Sewer line hydraulic flow study is usually conducted at the request of IWK to determine the current capacity of a sewer line. The data obtained is used to determine if the said sewer line can accommodate future flow contribution or needs to be upgraded. We also carry out sewer line infiltration and inflow analysis to support our findings.
Flow analysis is usually carried out inside manholes determined by IWK. Sometimes 2 or 3 tributary sewer lines have to be analysed concurrently. As such, 2 or 3 sets of Ultrasonic equipment have to be installed inside the pipeline of the respective manholes to capture the current flow condition at the same time for a period determined by the authorities. We have 3 sets of Ultrasonic equipment on standby at our disposal as well as surveying equipment for sewer line slope determination.
